Guess who got a reference sheet! The cute and spunky Cheershine!
And just a quick note, because I'm sure I'll get comments about this, I am aware of her similarities to a background pony named Cloudkicker! I created Cheershine before I knew about most background ponies and love her too much to change her now! She's very much a different character as well - her color scheme is much more saturated, she isn't a pegasus and her cutie mark isn't weather related, it represents her sunny disposition!
And with that out of the way, let's meet Cheershine!
Cheershine
species: earth pony
age: older teen (a few years younger than the mane six)
height: about half a head shorter than an average mare - she's pint sized and adorable!
weight: small and petite
cutie mark: an orange and yellow sun, which represents her sunny and happy personality
special talent: being cheerful and happy, spreading cheer to others
Cheershine earned her cutie mark when she was very young. She was raised by a single mother who worked very hard to take care of her daughter, and even though it was difficult sometimes to get by, Cheershine was always able to see a bright side and the happiness in life.
Other facts about Cheershine:
Cheershine was born and raised in Ponyville! She is an only child and lives with her mother!
Even though Cheershine can usually find happiness, she does have her off days, and days where she'd rather be alone than with friends.
She is the youngest of her group of friends, they all view her as their little sister and look after her accordingly. Cheershine loves this because she never had siblings growing up!
I imagine her personality like a less random Pinkie Pie. She has the happiness and excitement, but doesn't necessarily produce confetti or cupcakes out of thin air!
She is closest to Bluebell Breeze, and turns to her if she needs advice or help. Cheershine really admires Bluebell, because she wishes she could sing like Bluebell does! (She is all but tone deaf!)
Cheershine doesn't have a permanent job, but is known to run errands and make deliveries for her friends in Ponyville.
